Pam has, literally, a lifetime of experience being brought up in an Emergency Service household - living, breathing and often receiving emergency care. She started to work for Holos on a part-time basis and then joined South East coast Ambulance Service. Following this she spent 8 years in logistics in Kent, dealing with international freight, pallet networks and customer relations, while still teaching for Holos on a part-time basis. In 2021, she welcomed the newest member of the Holos team - her son Jacob - giving Alex and Judi their first grandchild, and now runs our admin.

In the 1980s both Judi and Alex were serving Police Officers, then in 1992 Alex left to join the London Ambulance Service. During their service, they both witnessed the importance of good First Aid care and, having a passion for teaching, started out as freelance instructors for other companies.
Unfortunately they were both disappointed with the quality and pricing of many of those providers. Judi became fed up with Alex's constant comments that he could "do better, cheaper" and told him to "do something about it!!!"
Alex and Judi Brazkiewicz formed Holos Healthcare & Training Ltd in 2004 to deliver high quality First Aid at Work training. Alex and Judi between them, currently have almost 35 years front-line Emergency Services experience, and almost 50 years training First Aid.
They are backed by a passionate team of instructors - hand picked for their experience but also their ability to "teach the basics - but also to teach them well".
"At Holos, First Aid isn't merely a job - it's a passion. When Judi and I started Holos in 2004 we had a simple plan - to provide excellent First Aid Training at a reasonable price.
By using staff with a mainly Emergency Service background - quite simply people who have 'walked the talk' - we believe we provide a service second to none.
Through encouragement, interactive learning, hard work and fun, an enjoyable learning experience can be achieved. Our motto is 'Learn the basics, but learn them well'.
And our philosophy is quite simple -
'To empower people to Help Save Lives' "
